For those of you who are at level 5 how long did it take you to get there? and how do i get a Top Contributer Badge? I'm always wandering.

Wow Justin, How much did you have to pay to get there? or did you get it free for advertising purposes?

Probably about a year. I like this site a lot but I'm not on it night and day. Looking at how many points I need to get to level 6, I figure that should take me about 3 years. :-(. Anywho you get a Top Contributor Badge by answering a whole lot of questions in a specific category. That is probably NEVER going to happen to me as I like to jump around all over the place.
Edit: The % of Best Answers you have has nothing to do with getting a Top Contributor Badge.

the first 5,000 took a couple of months...its the jump from 6 to 7 that seems an unrealistic goal...besides there are no advantages between 6 and 7 anyway, so now I ask a lot of questions and dont worry about the points. A top contributor badge comes when you have a best answer % over 10 in one category.

I'm only on level three. But to get the Top Contributor Badge you have to have at least 10% best answers in one catagory alone. I have the Top Contriburor Bage in Fashion and Accessories.

Just reached level 5 myself two days ago. I've been here for over a year, but took time out of this site to post at internet forums and write, but I'm back and trying to juggle all three.

Congats... and thank you for bringin sexy back also.... but I am almost to level 5 also.. it is the longest one to get to... I got like 40 more points of so.. if you pick my answer as best then it will really help out.

Congrats. When i did a "Woo im a level 4" question, they deleted mines. Damn ba...thtubs.
Anyway, you have to have a 10% or higher in best answers to get Top Contributor

Hooray for you! I am still slowly gaining points towards level five....sometimes it feels like the number of points I have is going backwards.
