This is a fiction. Someone, four years ago, started a canard that Mars would appear in the sky to be as big as the moon. Since, at its closest approach, Mars is more than 100 times further from the earth than the moon is (and is not much larger), this could not occur, then or now.

This is a myth, a hoax, a foolish chain e-mail. It's not happening this August 27, it hasn't happened any of the last four August 27s that the thing has been making the rounds.

k Not sure what a two moon is. If you mean new moon and lunar eclipse they are 6:35 A.M EST. Aug. 28 for the new moon and 6:37 A.M. for the eclipse.

I'm on the Western side of Canada, but all i know is my friend who lives in Ontario is three hours more than my time. Hope that helps. ^__^
