Are jews white?

I suppose I should specify "ashkenazi" jews. I always here people refer to jews as another race. But arent jews white. I mean, judaism is a religion, right? .... not a race.

racism? I didn't say anything negative. All I did was ask if they were white or not. You must think being white is a bad thing.

Most Jews in the world are White.Most of the world's Jewish population are of Eastern European descent or Ashkenazi Jews.

Yes, adherents of Judaism are considered Jews. But a great deal of people who are born to adherents of Judaism also identify themselves as Jews, as do the descendants of the ancient Hebrews and many members of other Semitic peoples.
Racial, religious, linguistic, and cultural factors all figure into whether or not a person considers himself/herself to be a Jew.

As for the Ashkenazi- If I'm not mistaken, the world's Jewish population consists mostly of the Ashkenazi. However, just as racial, religious, linguistic, and cultural factors all figure into whether or not someone identifies himself/herself as a Jew, those same factors figure into whether or not someone considers himself/herself to be an Ashkenazi Jew. A descendant of the Yiddish-speaking European Jews may consider himself/herself to be an Ashkenazi Jew. Whereas a gentile who converts to Judaism, and takes on Ashkenazi religious practices, may also consider himself/herself to be an Ashkenazi Jew.

As for whether or not Jews as a race group are white- Well, their complexions range from light to dark brown. So some people say yes and others say no.

You are correct--Judaism is not a race, it's a religion. Period. As to your specific question--by and large, Ashkenazi Jews tend to be white. However, many are not--I have Ashkenazi friends who are black, Asian, etc. And in addition there are large communities of black, Asian, etc., Jews which have existed as such for hundreds and hundreds of years. So for people to equate "Jewish" with "white" is a complete misrepresentation of the facts.

Not all Jews are white. People of varying ethnicities practice Judaism. There are white Jews, black Jews, Hispanic Jews, Asian Jews, etc.

Jews can be of any ethnicity, nationality or race. I know there are blacks who are Jews but most Jewish people are white. My ex was born into a Jewish family (white) but he doesnt really practice Judaism.

Technically a jew can be any color, like Sammy Davis Junior even, but still be a svartze.
If you try nailing Jewish bigots on race then it is a religion. If you go after them as religious bigots suddenly it is a race.

If a Jewish girl gets pregnant and the father is a Jew the child is Jewish. If they don't know who the father is the child is Jewish. If the father is a goy the child is a jew but is illegitimate and can not be married or buried in Israel.
Understand that this has nothing to do with whether or not you and her were married. It also has nothing to do with color.
Now if she is Jewish and marries a Goy then her family is supposed to throw a funeral, declare her dead to the tribe and never ever speak of her again, except as their dear dead daughter.

Not all jews are like this. It is the conservative Orthodox Jews who follow this.

Jewish Is a nationality, originating from the country of Judea. Judaism Is their religion. Generally they would be considered white.

It really depends on who you ask and which Jews you are referring to I think, race is such a "gray area" . . . ethnically, Jews are sometimes considered Caucasian, sometimes Arab sometimes Middle Eastern, so very generally speaking I'd say yes they are "white", but I think race is stupid and pointless and ethnicity makes a lot more sense.
