Depends which New Yorkers you ask. Many Democrats did not like Giuliani finding him too much of an authoritarian during his time in office. He does well with moderates and Independents from New York.

More importantly, does the rest of the country like New Yorkers? You gotta wonder, with a race that could very easily feature Giuliani, Hillary, and Bloomberg all running for the top job. Do you really figure the people in "flyover country" would tolerate that? Somehow, I doubt it.

His haters are generally more outspoken than his supporters. But he was elected and re-elected, so that speaks louder than anything.

I like him. I think he would be good with Romney as Vice.
