You definitely could be. Pregnancy tests measure the amount of hcg hormone that is in your urine. It is possible that your levels of hcg hormone are just still so low that they aren't being detected by the pregnancy test. You can take the test before you expect to get your period and have a positive result if you are pregnant, but your chances of getting an accurate result are better if you wait until after you have missed your period because the level of hcg hormone continues to increase every day that your are pregnant. Additionally, if you "pee on the stick" first thing in the morning you have a better chance of a positive pregnancy result showing up because the hormones become concentrated in your bladder overnight because you don't pee for 8 hours or so. In my case, I took a test 3 days before I even expected to get my period and had a positive test. My advice is get a 3-pack of pregnancy tests and try one every few days, first thing in the morning, and follow the test's directions precisely.

Yes you could still be pregnant. Home pregnancy test do not pick up low levels of the hcg hormone. You may need to wait til you are about 5 - 7 days late or longer to get a positive reading on a HPT. In the mean time don't stress and Congrats and Good Luck if you are!!!!

Yes you could be ,but you should wait a least a week or more before taking another pregnancy test.It also could be negative cause you are not pregnant it may be just stress,or other stuff going on .If you don't feel right about your pregnancy test go to your doctor that way you're not stressing out about if you are or not.

Yes! Home pregnancy tests are based on the amount of hormones in your bloodstream. You hormone level increases and you are further along in your pregnancy. You can take a home pregnancy test before you actually miss your period but the percent of accuracy decreases. For example if you take and EPT five days before you miss it is only quoted to be 43% effective! Go to your doctor, they have more accurate means!

Yes, you can be. When I was pregnant with my second child, my first test at about 4 weeks pregnant (about where you are now) was negative but I was pregnant. I took another one about 3 weeks later and it was positive.

yes, but girl, it's just the 12th. you could just be a few days delayed. if you still don't have your period by the end of this week, buy two or three different kits and test again.

um, its known that pregnancy test are'nt always positive, check it out with your doctor, in other cases, you might not be eating properly or something is wrong with your body internally, eg: sick wise......... its dangerous if this happens and you are not pregnant, this happened to my friend and it was because she had low iron intake. and hun, not all periods are regular, sometimes they come twice a month or heaps of weeks apart, but still, check it out with your doctor just in case

i would wait a week after your period was supposedto start and test again. You could possibly be preggo and the HCG is just not high enough to detect yet.
