you don't necessarily have to go to court room when you become a lawyer. if you work for a law firm and you take on a case they will appoint someone to go to court in place of you (called a court attorney). the profit from that person would just go to you and the other lawyer. but corporate law is good too, with a law degree you could basically do anything realestate, wills, succession, different things just try reasearching what lawyers do or the different types of lawyers. There are 4 lawyers that i work for and only ONE (1) of them are the appointed trial lawyer...meaning she's the only one got to court....good luck with your decision

Contract Law - the company I work for has a large procurement team that re-read and reqord contracts with our suppliers.

Solicitors - basically from writing legal documents, formalising wills etc. Some family law stuff. Most lawyers don't end up in court anyway.

You could go into real estate law and do loan closings.
