It does not mean he decided to date you or that he want to remain friends. It means you might be a bit complicated to figure out and he would need a manual to understand you.

If he says, you come with a manual, it means that you are predictable, maybe too much so that you are a little boring.
Try to spice things up by being a little unpredictable.
Use the blue table cloth instead of the old green one all the time and such as that!
If he says you should come with a manual, it means you are being too complicated and should tone it down a little.
At least communicate so he knows what to expect from you.

4 of the first 5 got it right, it means you are to difficult, a pain, has to have a manual to understand you., the one that said spice it, prolly been told she needs a manual as well, and didnt understand what it meant either.
