I would say no if you count the laws of physics in here... but if you aim ahead you might actually get a kill.... not sure where I got this from lol.... plenty of shooter rpg's
Terry I think that's actually where I got the idea from... aircraft dogfits simulations for masses lol.... ty ....
check the basic combat maneuvers for any jet fighters game and you will get the notion how... in an F-4 you would shoot ahead always going at 12'o clock dead aimed to your target...
lots of ideas here... but to relate to train... rocky platform yep... hard to aim... observe how fast the target is moving and think where it will be where the shot reaches them... interesting q. now I'm thinking of a scenario :)

The myth you speak of might have taken its plot from the time they discovered that jet fighter planes could catch up with bullets they fired at a target if they weren't careful.

"Moving train" is such a broad description. How fast are we talking here?
Anyway, the answer is that yes, you can shoot someone from a moving train.

If your aim is correct you can hit almost any thing from a moving train........ It is just hard to correctly aim a weapon on anything that is shaking you like a train would............................
