i use soo much sunblock, but i still turn so dark i look african american but i am white.

Yes, it is def possible to be too tan. I remember one particular woman I once saw at a baseball game that was sooo unbelievably dark. For her sake, I pray that it was sunless tanner, but I have a feeling it was the result of years of lying out in the sun. Big mistake as I'm sure she has caused herself some serious damage. Not only that, an extreme tan, I think, looks much worse than no tan at all.

Yes. It looks even worse if you're a natural blonde. Get some hight spf sunblock or talk to a dermo or just your regular doctor about good sunblocks for your skin.

ummm no but if u want to be less tan then get a sunblock with a high spf. i had the same problem as u - actually im half white half black - and i hated to get tan. then my mom told me just to use a high spf - i use spf 50 - and i barely got tan this summer!

Any tan is sun damage. So yes, you can be too tan.
If you want to save you skin, try and stay out of the sun alltogether. If you have to be in the sun, cover up your skin with clothes. Sit under a tree. Always wear a hat.

It is possible to be too tan, just make sure that the sunblock you're using has high spf. (^_^)

No that would be pretty you have a lot of melon in your skin that's the stuff that makes you tan.
