I am a garage sale, yard sale, thrift store junkie. I have found at a yard sale a piece of McCoy pottery for $1 -- with the lid and not a crack or chip it is a $35 dollar piece. I think it is a treasure, and it is so pretty. I have an antique Boston Rocker that I picked up at a yard sale for $3 and I am unsure how much it is actually worth, but I know it has to be worth more than the $3 I paid for it.
Peace.

Well not in the actual sense of valuable, but to me they seemed like it at the time. According to my husband I think bits of string are valuable and try to save them too. =)

No! Generally I find the stuff I buy turns out to be genuine total crap. But, I'm glad others out there are cleaning up!

I never have. I think people are too wise these days and carefully check out what they put out in their sales.
