Many People have said there is no Al-qaida or foreign fighters in Iraq. Is this true facts or opinions?

I've heard that there is no such thing as Al-qaida or terrorist in Iraq. Is this true? If so, could you please references.

If my question offend some people then Im sorry but, if it does then please say so and don't start with the character assasinations and name calling. Unless it makes you feel good then go right ahead. Also thank you for taking your time to answer my question.

Of course there Al Qaeda fighters in Iraq. The only ones to deny this are people like Cindy Sheehan and the "mainstream" liberal media and those politicians trying to suck up to the extreme left-leaning wackos.

The last thing that Al Qaeda (and Iran, Syria and Saudi Arabia) want to see in the Middle East is a country with a democratically elected government in their midst. That would ruin their kingdoms, dictatorships and theocracies because they rule by terror and the oppression of their populations.

There are definitely Al Qaida and foreign fighters in Iraq. Iranian, Syrian, and Saudi fighters have been identified there.

Saddam Hussain's Iraq would have not allowed this. This has only happened because the US-led forces brought down Saddam's regime without an appropriate plan or forethought as to how to handle things after Saddam's fall. Al Qaida, etc. forces have come in to help the insurgents.

The sad reality IS, that due to Our limited military presence, & the weak Iraqi Goverment we're propping up- Iraq has become a "training ground" for MANY of the disaffected terrorist organizations in that part of the World. The reasons are Obvious: Neither WE or the current Government has the strength or wherewithall- to keep them OUT. The Country is awash- with munitions & explosive making materials. Much of the money we're pumping into Iraq- is being siphoned off by corrupt Iraqi Officials- into shadowy terrorist organizations. And we're providing the "perfect targets" for terrorist to "hone their skills" on- for when they LEAVE the Country to cause trouble somewhere ELSE in the World. So if there were no Al-Queda terrorists in Iraq BEFORE we invaded that Country (& the evidence suggests there WEREN'T), it's a good bet there's PLENTY of them there NOW- getting"in" on a piece of the "action"! :(
