Each state is different. Look in the yellow pages of the telephone book under Electricians, call a few and ask for free prices.

My son-in-law is a master electrician, works with an apprentice and charges $48.00 an hour, plus material or ? you work it out with him but, it comes to about the same.

$30 to $70 per hour for licensed professionals who won't burn your house down and will do the work in compliance with the electric codes. $10 for Joe handy man. And then $30 to $70 per hour to fix his mistakes if caught before the house burns down. You get what you pay for.

depends on your location. $60 and hour here in the Midwest. make sure they are liscensed and insured not just some schmuck who says he knows what he's doing.
