About a year ago, a lot of people were complaining about their new macbooks turning yellowish around the wrist rests, and peeling also. Do you know if this discolorationg problem has since been resolved by Apple in their newer macbooks?

When the MacBooks first came out, the manufacturer of the white case messed up on some of them. Apple repaired/replaced the damaged ones. There has been no further problem. I have a white MacBook, no problems for 18 months.

Apple has resolved that problem, I think. At least Apple has replaced the wrist pad(?) under warranty for the Macbook owners that have had this problem.

I Ebayed my MacBook Pro a few weeks ago -- it wouldn't run any software unless I bought Windows and I said he11 why would I pay $2,500 for a MacBook Pro if I'm just going to turn around and buy a PC? Good news is the PC only set me back $600.
