Population of 15 million is a huge 13% of the total 88.7 M for the entire country.

Yet, its 636 sq kms of land area is a mere 0.2% (read that right : zero point two percent) of the Philippines total land area of 299,404 sq kms.

Thus, you have 13% of the population choking in a tiny place that is only 0.2% of it land area.

Such that in terms of density (people per square km), metro Manila has 61 x more people than the average for the whole Philippines.

And the world's list of the most densely-populated cities inevitably always includes our beloved NCR.

i guess Metro manila. It gets so congested coz people in the provinces flock to MM to look for that golden opportunity, missing out the ones in the countryside.
