this all depends on what type of tight end you want to be if you want to be a pass catching te then you need to work on it and get it around the 4.7 range minimum if you are happy with being a blocking te then you are ok for now but it you have any hope of playing in college it needs to drop considerably at least under 5.0 and even then that is slow

depends what level you're playing at,

highschool it's okay, but it could be faster

college, your probablly gonna end up being a lineman or a blocking tight end on goal line situations

pros, all tight ends run atleast like a 4.6, 4.7

No, it is not. Speed cannot be learned or taught. It is innate. Your can improve some but not much. Long distance running can be learned and taught. Look into offensive guard.

No. Not being able to break a 5.0 is terrible. You will only be a blocking tight end.

i suggest you do more sprint workouts on treadmills. be powerful and make your hands better.

its below average if your a freshman in HS.
I think the average for TE's in HS is around 4.9-5.2
But its good if you can block well.
