The Foundations. It was redone by some country act in the '90s, but I can't remember who it was. I seem to have some kind of voice in my head telling me you can find the original version on the soundtrack to Something About Mary, but if it's not that one, it's some comedy movie that came out around that time. Or it's probably on iTunes.

The Foundations in 1968, I got this record on a 45. They also did another good song called "Baby Now That I Found You". You can download them from Limewire or buy the Best Of The Foundations from amazon.com for 13.98. Its safe, I buy from them always.

It was released by The foundations in 1968. It was then covered by The Goops in 1995 for soundtrack of Mallrats. Then it was included in the 1998 soundtrack of There's Something About Mary.
