I want to get a NES from a retail store and wanted to know any good NES games to get with it. Please can you tell me a couple of games.

Sure pal. The original Legend of Zelda is a classic game. Real fun, it really has the Zelda game feel to it. Other great NES games are the first and third (not the second, trust me) Castlevania games. They're classics and have good game music. Of course, go for Super Mario Bros., but if you can find the rare Super Mario Bros. 3 then get that game too. Mach Rider, awesome classic racing game. Pretty fun if you like high paced racing, shooting, and dodging. I have all these games and more! Have fun with them. Later.

Legend of Zelda 1 is the best single player game. Contra is fun 1 or 2 player shooter. Mario 3 is also a must have. Other good games are: archon,megaman,marble madness,and excite bike.

Tecmo Super Bowl - the original NFL game
River City Ransom - beat'em up that's easy to pick up
Legend of Zelda - can't go wrong with Zelda
Mega Man I or II - arcade classic
Super C - really fun to play co-op through this
Crystalis - an early RPG that's pretty good

ok if you got an original nintendo i suggest super mario land 3, megaman 1,2, and 3, double dragon (fighting game), duck hunt, with the gun (make sure it comes with it), pole position (racing game), Dr. Mario, and shatterhand if you can find it.
if its a super NES i suggest killer instinct, Mega man X, street fighter, and mystic quest. happy gaming :)
