i have a dell dimension e310 i hate the integrated graphics card so i want to grade the one i have in mind is the EVGA e-GeForce 7600 GS (PCI-E, 512MB) i know i would have to upgrade the power supply but other then that do i have a match
if i dont have a match can someone reccomend a graphics card thanks

Tough luck, your PC does not have a fast graphics expansion port (x16 PCIe). That Geforce 7600 GS won't work. The other options suggested are quite expensive, but not really capable of delivering impressive performance on those slow PCI or x1 PCIe slot. BUT between these two, x1 PCIe is faster. If you've got the bucks, get the x1 PCIe card. Otherwise, settle for the slower PCI card.

No, the Dimension E310 has 2 PCI slots and 1 PCI-E X1 slot, the graphics card you suggested only supports PCI-E X16. Here is another graphics card for the:

if you want to get a new GPU I would suggest a 7800 min for games cuase there are games that that card can barely run, the best cheap card is probably an nVIDIA 8500

That sounds like an awsome card. It will work if you have a PCI excpress slot in your comp...

You can use a pcix1 slot card or a regular pci card but not a pci-x.
