Okay, when people say high school isn't that bad, they're telling you the truth.
The only thing you should avoid, is acting too much like a freshmen. Don't act like you're the only kid on campus or the upperclassmen will hate you. Be polite and treat others like you'd like to be treated. Yes, it sounds cliche, but it's totally true.
Seriously, not all the upperclassmen are out to get you and if you act nice, they should be nice back. & if they aren't, well they're just not worth your time!

im gonna be a sophomore this year so i remember my first day as a freshmen. I was also nervous. Remember that you aren't the only one thats nervous, i'm pretty sure every single freshmen there are nervous.
Are you sure they didnt tell you about your schedule? if they did then all you need to know is all your classes and where they are. If they didn't then you can always ask at the main office. Im so sure many people will be as lost as you.
On your first day there is nothing to worry about all your teachers will just tell you whats going to happen in the that class.
So do not worry everything will be fine. Good Luck. hope that helps

Breathe. Breathe. Breathe in. Breathe out. Now... they're not going to expect you to know everything right off the bat. When you moved from seventh into eighth grade, there was no problem, was there? This will be about the same. Not an end-all. Just moving up. #1 rule: Be aggressive in the lunch room. Finding someone to sit with is the premier task of anyone returning for another year of high school.

If you see a Senior walking down the hall, MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!!
Don't bother trying to be popular, freshmen NEVER are. Just be yourself, and enjoy it.
Don't go to house parties. Wait 'til you're a junior, so people will actually notice you.
Most high school teachers are pretty ignorant, but you do occasionally find some that actually cares. Listen to those ones, they're worth it.

Many great careers are built in high school, so look out for what do you feel inspired to do in life, it is the best time to find your groove in life, and also to find who you truly are, your separate unique identity builds here.
Find out what you stand for in life, by finding out what you'd stand for.
Beyond that, take it lightly, as everyone else too, is also feeling equally nervous as you are, so relax, take it easy, it is only human to feel so.
Many would try to cover it up well, by trying to act 'cool', so you can stand out by being authentic, by just being who you really are. Once you start appreciating yourself, others would follow, and that is the way to ensure that you shine, always.
Have a great year!

Told you anything like what?? You need to relax, don't be afraid. If you don't know anything or anyone believe me you will. I know is hard wehn you are a freshman because you go in without knowing nothing or moone. Be yoursel and friendly don't cocky and shy. First day counts!!

It's pretty much exactly like entering junior high, except they're older. You should have no problems except maybe because it's a different school and you'll make different friends. And there's even more drama in high school than middle school.
