When there are African Americans in the movies as part of the major characters . . .

not always, sometimes it's the jock or the s lut or the Security Guard (my bf works in security,so he doesn't like that). It does sometimes seem that way,though. I guess it all depends on what movie you're watching. But in a slasher movie, eventually everyone or pretty much everyone ends up biting it and regardless of who bites it first, SOMEONE is going to be offended (like my bf ;p). But that's just how horror/slasher films work.

the characters are the ones that die, and the actor who reads for the part knows that ahead of time. usually some character actor or extra who wants to make it in the biz will come on for some bit part, knowing they won't make it to the end. some people are just so arrogant, they would never be in a movie unless they could get a starring role. besides, it's not the role, but what u do with it. a good death scene can make a movie. take the "chestburster" scene in "Alien". African amer actor yaphet koto was in that movie, and not only did he not die, but the chestburster scene was the part that made the movie. also, look at janet leigh in "psycho". it just takes a better actor to make the death look good. some actors take it as a challenge.

Ive noticed that too but not just the black person but the fat one and asian if there is one but i dont know why
im not trying to be offensive or anything but if you just pick out a random horror movie then more than likely a black fat or asian person will die first

They don't always die first, but they do die in them. Unless there are two or more then some of them live!
