Set the mood for what?

If you are trying to set the mood for a long night of drinking alone, I suggest anything by George Jones.

For setting a party mood..Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks, Big & Rich, Brad Paisley all seem to have good songs for that sort of thing.

Angry at your man mood...Well, that Carrie Underwood song would work well...Goodbye Earl would be another good song to set the mood.

Oh...if you are trying to set a romantic mood (for a man,) don't waste your time with trying to pick out a song. We don't care. Put on some nice perfume and a new teddy and that's all we need.

LOL I just want to agree with Willie D. Men don't need music to set the mood! Anyhow everyone else gave good ideas as well so just have fun picking and choosing.
