I really have a bad life here in Michigan, I move all the time and cold weather brings me down. I have no time to go to school with my job and its impossible to find a new job here. I want to be somewhere warm with friendly women.

St Croix is not the best choice in the Caribbean for employment. You'd be better off trying St Thomas - your criteria may be met here !

I'm a St. Croix native (born in Christiansted) and I can honestly tell you that you need lots of money to leave there as a transplant. The islands aren't the laid back place they used to be. Its a money hungry tourist destination now more than a few years ago. If you want warm and friendly try Cali or Florida. Its generally the same just the accents are different.

Women are the ones more likely to get lucky since they are radically outnumbered by men.

I love St. Croix. If you can wait tables or have other restaurant, hotel or even boating experience, there are jobs if you are willing to work hard. Lots of people move from stateside to the islands.

I wish you luck, my friend, it is a wonderful place to live. Not only is the weather great, the people are very nice, too.

Why don't you go south, like Georgia, Florida, South/North Carolina. Save more money and than make your move.

Good Luck

You should save up more first. A little money won't do. You don't want to become homeless after the money has run out.

Wait until you have saved up.
