SOME OF MY CUSTOMERS HAVE THESE CARS AND SOME OF THEM HAVE 350,000 MILES ON THEM BUT ONLY BECAUSE THEY DO THE MAINTENANCE.

I'm sorry, you can't compare the Subaru to the Toyota's fairly because Subaru has all wheel drive, which has greatly enhanced my love of driving. You really should test drive all these cars, I was seriously disappointed with the Matrix's handling.
Yahoo has a way of comparing cars and you could try that as well. The Camry is a good $5,000 above the other two, so I'm wonder if you don't mean the Corolla?
I would also consider the Mazda 3 and the Honda Civic. GO test drive them, that's the most important part of this process. I test drove all my cars and I picked the Subaru because of it's handling and they are comparable to Toyota and Honda in reliability.
The Subaru has a very cramped back seat, so if you plan on having lots of friends drive with you, you would be better off with a bigger back seat. I just drive me and my four year old, and we drive in my husbands car when we all go out together.

The camry, Toyotas are great cars, but you should buy a older car like a 05'

I prefer the Toyota Matrix XR. Subaru to me is not for cool people but for family guys. Toyota camry is kinda old in the business.

go with the toyota camry 4 door 4 cylinder
excellent gas milage, lots of passenger room, and very high ratings in all areas. plus it stands the test of time.camry has been around along time. resale value is great.
subaru has horrible resale value.

my late husband loved fords, now I am driving a honda accord. love it. this is the best car. it is great on gas

all good choices, but since i like wagons i would choose the subaru
