Truly amazing that anyhone is actually thinking "should the president be a woman or another race?". Perhaps it should be the best person for the job?!?! Obama does lack some experience and Hillary is power mad and couldn't care less about anyone but Hillary - those aren't the only choices folks...how about Giuliani or even drafting Bloomberg? Those are examples of leaders.
Anyone who thinks Clinton was a good president should have their head examined - what did he accomplish? Nothing...oh well...this is Yahoo Answers after all...

Thanks for letting us participate in a guessing game, But greatness is a thing that is earned and impossible to predict. Some of the present candidates most people hardly know, those we have heard about are like ourselves, whatever our opinions are they will probably differ from other people. Study the platforms, vote your best choice an hope and pray it's the best
Isn't a republic wonderful?

I don't think gender or color is what Americans need to consider as we try to find a good president to lead us through this very dangerous time. I think we need someone with common sense! And I think Fred Thompson is the man!!! If for some reason he doesn't run and win his party's nomination, I'll write in his name!!

Tancredo is our only hope to save this country. I'm not against a woman or a black president per-say but both Hillary and Obama are really bad choices.

I don't know if there will be another great president (Reagan was the last one the US had).Having a different gender or color has nothing to do with greatness.Someday there may be (I don't know if there will be another great president in the US).The current packed crowd (dems and Rep don't seem to hold much promise).

I do not like Hillary because besides her family, I feel she has been dishonest. I personally am watching Fred Thompson, listening to him fill in for Paul Harvey on radio made me feel he has a lot of common sense and the guts to state what he feels is right in a plain understandable way.

This isn't about race or gender. It's about competence and who we believe will shape this country the way we want it to be.

Because we all have different views about what will make America a better great country, we all have different preferences for a candidate.

people are blinded by the whole black man, and woman hype about the president.

compare these candidates to (R) Ron paul i know not alot of people dont trust republicans these days, but hes worth having a look at in my opinion.

also (D) Dennis kuchinic is a good candidate

I think anyone with true integrity would make a great president. I do not care what color someone is, or what gender one is.

My plan is to wait and see who will actually be the two we will have to choose from. I hope they will lead our nation with justice, harmony, and integrity, and above all, not lie on national television.
