wow! I wasn't expecting so many interesting stories; it's going to be hard to choose a best answer!

1. A bad bounce in the outfield caught me in the eye once.
2. Decided to land on my face when climbing up an icy hill, broke my nose and had two black eyes (I was 7)
3. Got hit in the face with a racquetball. New rule: Never turn around to look when the serve doesn't happen as fast you think it should.
4. My ex-husband fractured my cheekbone.
5. My golden retriever decided to pop-up and smashed my glasses into my face. Had a nice black eye from that one.
6. The aluminum camping kit came off a shelf, caught me in the bridge of the nose (broke it AGAIN) and ended up with a black eye.
(*laughter*) Well, you asked.

Yes I have. I was little, 3 or 4, Halloween day I think. I spun around in the shower and slipped.

I've only had it once. And the weird thing is I just woke up one day and realized I had a black eye. I wasn't in a fight or anything of that nature, just woke up and had it. Which was very weird. =/

Trying to give a wormer to my daughter's horse - he threw his head about - knocked my glasses across the yard and smacked his jaw in my eye

I've had a couple and they came from hands. The end solutions were always memorable though. No regrets.

Yes, but it is usually 2 black eyes..when my makeup runs down:
either because I went swimming and i had makeup on!
or because I cried, and i had makeup on !
