How do I transfer all my pictures on my old imac to my new imac? thanks

I think your best bet would be to get a firewire. it'll connect the two computers and then you can copy all the photos over fairly quickly.

Connect the two Macs and run Migration Assistant from the new Macs Utilities folder. Or you can connect the two and startup the old Mac in Target Disk Mode and drag and drop the photos to the new Mac, I think.

Although most peopele will tell you firewire, Im gonna give you another option. If you have an ipod you can use it by putting all your pics onto it, and then hooking it up to the new comp. They will load from there, its that simple.

1. connect both computers with a firewire
2. start up your old computer in target disk mode (hold t at at startup)
3. copy what you need
