Yes, I have that problem every morning when I look in the mirror while shaving. It's hell, I tell you. Just hell.

Yes, it is very natural. I am easily intimidated when I feel like I have just come face-to-face with someone more qualified than I--whether smarter, better at sports, more beautiful, ect. I find it hard not to hate them, but it just takes time to sepperate hatred and jealousy.
I just remind myself that we are all the same on the inside--it may sound very corny, but when you really start to think about it, it couldn't be more true. We're all humans, we've all been hurt, we're all under pressure to be better, we're all striving for the same thing: to make it through life.
That is the only surefire way that I know of to force your way past being intimidated. :)
Best wishes!
Kate

Oh yes. It's natural when you come in contact with someone who's not only good looking, but who is out right "Alpha" and dominates gently and effectivly. These men have a world of troubles in our law-laiden society; in actuality- it is more likely than not- it is their lineage make up that has been so successful and will continue to dominate long into the future.

I used to be that way...when I was really young...I then started telling myself, to pretend that this person was the 'ugliest' person I ever met...I just tried to ignore their outward appearance..sometimes, they feel horrible too, because they are so nice looking, ...and they know people are just looking at them for that...but you know what?? Looks fade away some day, and there better be more there than just physical features..you are beautiful too, and don't ever forget it

I just try to find out what kind of a person he/she is on the inside. I know it can be hard on those kinds of people when everyone else judges them by their looks only and not by their inside self.
