Yes, there are a number of places in the Congo in Africa as well as in Thailand. There are certain parts of Thailand that believe Elephant meat is an aphrodisiac. I have even attached a link for Elephant Soup! Bon apetit!

I remember reading about an elephant in Narobi that terrorized a village and they dug a pit that trapped it and after they killed it, they divided it up for eating, so the answer must be yes.

I would hope not!!!! I imagine elephant meat is very tough and hard to chew! But I'm sure its possible in some parts of the world.
