I have heard about it on here, but want to know if it is also maybe occuring over here in America as well tonight.

Yes my friend in America says the best time to see it in the US is between 11pm and 12am.

It occurs in America too. We (the planet) actually pass through the debris, so I don't think there's anywhere that doesn't see them.

i live in america and yes its happening here i live on the eastern side and we are suppose to be able to see it at 2 am

2am Eastern Time in the States will be clearest. But you can see it hours before and after.
