That is really too early. You might see some as early as 11:00, but not very many. The best time is just before first light in the morning. Ask if you can go to bed early and set your alarm or 4:30 AM or something like that for the best show. Just make sure you get up early enough so that it is still completely dark or you will miss them. You need a completely dark sky to see them.

The reason early morning is best is because the Earth is running into the meteor stream in its orbit, and the side of Earth where sunrise happens is the front part of the globe facing in the direction Earth is orbiting. The meteors hit that side of the globe for the same reason bugs hit the windshield of the car and not the back window.
