Is it wrong to contemplate life, a lot? The world you live in. Soceity? This is something I think about quite a bit. Just how people are and what we are. What's wrong with us! Why can't it be like this?Appreciate that? Love that person you said you did? Integrity, virtue, all these things. You know what saying? I try not to let this consume my every being and every thought! But I never really stop thinking about it...ever. Its always in the back of my mind tucked away.Just that constant thought of...LIFE! Is that weird?

Not weird at all. I find that I become most pre-occupied with those very things when I'm kind of in a transition in my life. Sometimes it's triggered by finding out that someone close to me is seriously ill, or someone dies - sometimes there are triggers like a world crisis, 9/11 for instance. I also go through that obsessing when I'm at a crossroads in my life -- like when my life is going to change, for instance-starting a new school, finishing school, a new job, moving...I think we need to meditate and think about life and the world and our spirit as well as our future, our past... I think it's like doing a personal inventory and it can be extremely cathartic. If you feel lonely with your thoughts and could use a sounding board, by all means seek someone to share some of your thoughts with. On the other hand, if you feel as though this is an 'obsession' that you are working through on your own, don't even worry about it! I think it's very good that you are thinking about your values -- your virtue and integrity, the love you feel (or don't feel). Evaluating yourself and how you fit in the world around you is an important part of maturing and 'evolving', and is on-going for all of your life. The fact that you feel that you are a little consumed by it at this time in your life could be an indication that you are about to enter a different phase of your life and trying to determine just where you stand on a lot of important issues. You are obviously seeking wisdom. Go to a library and see what you can find there that may help you answer some of the things that have been niggling at you. You'll be just fine--I wish more people would take the time to think as you are instead of just spinning their wheels and running their mouths! Good luck on this intense life journey!

Seeing as how everything you do is in fact living your life, you have no choice but to contemplate it. Worrying about the things you can't change or trying to imagine how something WOULD have turned out had you made another choice is a bit over the top. Try and just experience the now and let the other problems, worries, whatever happen all by themself. Don't let the now pass into the then and end up missing that life you're thinking about all the time.

I see nothing wrong with it. I am 52 years old and still wonder why some people are the way they are and others different. Why are some born into riches and others not. Why people know the difference of right and wrong and do wrong anyway. Why others can feel deeply into their souls and others not. keep thinking. It will make you a good person. You may know how to fight injustices as you go along in life.

It's not weird at all! In fact, if more people were like you, the world would be a heck of a better place.

I would reccomend philosophy and psychology classes to quench your desire for answers--they may not provide a definite answer to your questions, but they may fuel your fire for more questions and provide enough information for you to answer those questions yourself.

Remember, it isn't weird for you to be experiencing this. I experience the same thing. I have been going through a phase where I want to help everyone and make a difference in the world, to make a dent in the world's pain, to take some of it away. I know I can't do it all myself, but I feel like I have to do my share.

Keep asking those questions! The world needs people like you!

I think that if a lot more people contemplated life and their place in it, we would make better choices in life and the world would be a nicer place to live.

Too many people out there make really bad choices because they chose not to think about their actions before they made them.

That's not weird for a smart person to think about stuff like that alot. Try to take some classes at some school or another. It helps to have some knowledge to feed those ideas.

Oooo hey guess what. I do that every day.
I like fueling the fire, so try thinking about this.
Your size in contrast to the universe are like cells in a petri dish. It's crazy. OMG LIFE IS CRAZY! I wonder what aliens think about us. If they really are watching us, I bet they think we are pretty stupid. We are oblivious to what really goes on in the universe and the true nature of it. It's going to take people like you and I to figure it out. Let it drive you and be your will to figure it all out. Share what you think. I do, as often as I can.

It tells me that you are a responsible person, that you think ahead before doing anything and you come across as a person who is well informed, practical and knows exactly what is going on around you. That is good because you won't give anybody a chance to take advantage of you.

Oh well, I wouldn't say Life is weird but if you want to use the word 'weird' to express Life's happening, that is in a sense what makes Life so much more interesting....

Oue society doesn't always suit our needs, and we have difficulties to deal with the challenging things. Their are difficulties in life, and this is where our society make it hard to deal with.
