Yeah........um Gigglebear I'm pretty sure Columbus didn't land in Mexico, I believe that was Cortez

Maybe! But that is it people things in our world of full interactive communication can be distorted. I don't think he was the first by far, i would give the award to Phoenicians, Thalaisin or maybe the Egyptians. Getting there and knowing how to map or even get back are two different things, mistake of travel a wrong turn that could not be repeated. It is there in history just look.
