I had a dream I was writing a song called, "The Black Widow Surprentice" i'm just curious to see if anyone has ideas of a definition. (Surprentice is not a real word).

"Surprentice" could be a student with a surprising learning curve. Like a bimboesque blonde with an agenda, for instance.

Combined with "Black Widow," the dream could be a fantasy about your finding a rich old geezer with a gift for teaching and a weak heart and making him VERY happy--for about six months.

The Black Widow's Apprentice? Maybe this is what the song of your dreams was actually called and you just mis-dreamed it slightly. If you kind of merge the words as you say them, you can make both of these phrases sound the same!

Just my thoughts!

A Surprentice would be like an apprentice you didn't know you had until they leaped out from behind a desk.

To me, a "surprentice" is a second or even a third-year apprentice
