He's a Hall Of Famer for sure!!! He didn't do steroids like that guy who plays for the Giants did. Instead he took care of himself in the off season & was never in the news in a bad light. He's a great guy off the field. There were even times when he would have his contract re-done in order to free up money to re-sign Bagwell who also did the same for Craig.
On the field he has more doubles than any right hander in the history of the game, a multiple All Star at both catcher & 2nd, is the National League leader in leadoff homeruns, is the leader in getting hit the by the most pitches in baseball, & of course collected his 3000th hit recently. And was part of the greatest double play combo in the history of Houston baseball. He plays the game as it should be played by going all out on every play.
If these things aren't enough to be a first ballot HOF'er then they may as well shut the door to the place cos it will be nothing more than a sham. And Jeff Bagwell should go in the hall on the same day as Craig since Jeff's retirement actually took place here in 07.

Biggio played the game the right way. Didn't juice up, always hustled, and even took pay cuts to stay with the Astros. Along with his amazing stats, including 3000+ hits, high in doubles, steals, runs scored, HBP record, not hitting into a double play for over a season, classy guy, played it the right way, he deserves a first ballot. If he doesn't get 1st ballots, I will be very surprised, but he is a shoe in for the HOF no matter what. I hear he is a great guy, why would someone hate him? If you hate him, then you are not a fan of real baseball.

Craig Biggio is an EVENTUAL hall of famer. I highly doubt a first ballot but yes he'll enter the hall. 3,000 hits and a stellar carrer will get him there. And anybody whos been hit by as many pitches as he has and plays 20 years deserves it in my book!

confident...Biggio will at last get 3000 hits that is a lock and Bagwell became the excellent first baseman for the period of the time he performed. they could no longer make it on the 1st poll, yet they are locks for the hall of attractiveness.

Biggio only sealed the deal this year by getting 3,000 hits. If he got 2,984, he might not have gotten in for a few years, just like how Bert Blyleven has 287 wins. If only he got 13 more wins, he would've been a HOF'er years ago. By the way, on a side note, I feel Biggio was a juicer, but never got caught. He was lucky to plays with big juicers like Bags and Cams because that didn't put the spotlight on him. The juice definitely helped Biggio with his longevity, playing 20 years, that's for sure. He'll get in though, cause he was never caught. Too bad for Raffy though....3,000 hits, but he got caught.

I expect so, and it has nothing to do with the 3000+ hits (that merely validates how good a player he has been). Bidge sealed his Hall candidacy several years ago. It is simply more obvious now.
