Yeah, way back in 2005 Shaq is still okay (although in a rapid decline). He is still as dominant just as he did in the champion years. Kobe in the other hand could have been traded 1:1 with Iverson. If Iverson is with the Lakers don't you think they could win a championship? Shaq and the answer in a team is as good as Kobe and Shaq in my opinion. See, having Shaq on your team is like having one of your foot cemented in the Finals scene (2006 Shaq proved that, Miami's lone champion ring so far). Shaq is a proven winner and he'll get my vote anytime.

My point is this guys, Kobe can be replaced because there are so many good players in the league that can cover for his loss. Shaq on the other hand is irreplaceable. Look at the power vacuum he left when he was traded to Miami. Shaq found a great quarterback for him in Miami (Wade) that is why for the fourth time in his career he had another ring.

The lakers would definitely win another championship if Kobe left because by trading Kobe away, Lakers will get back some really good deal. With that good deal, definitely they can tagged up with Shaq.
I think to solve the puzzle about winning a champioship is to have a dominant centre and another strong consistent team mate in cutting lanes. That makes a good tag team.

Shaq is much harder to replace than Kobe. Shaq could lead the Lakers to a championship even if Kobe's replacement is not as good as Kobe.

with the zillion dollars the lakers would have had to spend had they not signed kobe could have brought in 2 or 3 good players and the lakers would be more well rounded with a solid center in shaq. I say yes. The team is lacking good team ball and all around talent on the floor cuz its kobe and lamar and no one else. I say YES.

It depends who the Lakers would have signed to replace Kobe Bryant. There would've been alot of players that wanted to play with Shaq. Its possible that the Lakers could have won another NBA Championship.

No, Shaq need Kobe too, but he found Wade. That's why the Heat won a championship.

No. Shaq, like Kobe, also needs a second in command. Shaq would have never won a title in Miami if he didn't have Dwayne Wade to rely on.

kobe has no shaq
shaq would have no kobe
in other words it'd be shaq with little guy instead of
kobe with no big guy
however, if the Lakers traded Kobe it probanly would of drawn in a better return, and most likely not from Miami because they had a future kobe-like player enter his second year who led them to the playoffs the year before...who was that?Oh yeah, Dwayne Wade.

No way. The Odom/Shaq combo would be terrible. I doubt the Lakers would even get out of the playoffs. They would be at the same place the current Lakers are.

Nope...
Kobe helped them win those/some game within the final minute.
Please, gimme a break!
Shaq is good, but would have won a thing if he was there now.
He would have won a thing had it not been for Wade either!
