I wanted to start college early so I took my G.E.D. two days after my 18th birthday and passed. I then started college later that same month with a full 4 year scholarship.

I don't remember how many credits you needed but I was told at the time that the G.E.D. test was harder than the final tests in high school. Part of the GED was reading and defining poetry.

I only needed like 22 high school credits, 60 hrs. of community service, & pass a state test.

I don't know if I had to pass any "credits" but I graduated. (I'm jealous when I hear famous musicians drop out of high school & are millionaires!-I heard Vince Niel of Motley Crue dropped out in 9th grade!)
