Heck YEAH!!!

He was the GREATEST leadoff hitter of all time. Greatest base stealer of all time... and scored more runs than any other player in the game.

Rickey was truly one of the greatest players I have ever seen!

If you don't think Rickey was awesome... just ask him. He'll be happy to tell you!

Henderson is a lock for the HOF. Not only is the career stolen base leader and career runs leader, but he also set a single season stolen base record (130) that may never be come close to. He also has the record for most home runs to lead-off a game. Henderson is the Babe Ruth of lead-off type hitters, there is no one better at getting on, getting over, and getting in then he was.

His numbers AND unique character
alone should tag him as a shoo-in.

I remember watching him play live
in Oakland a few times and of course
on TV.

He ALWAYS played his heart out and
was up for the performance.

In some ways, with his stick-to-itiveness
(insisting on making comebacks to
this day and probably next decade?),
he can easily be considered exemplary
as far as loving the game of baseball.

To some of us, it's all about Heart.

And it's Heart that should be prerequisite
to getting to any Diamond!

My vote is casted: Rickey's in.

somewhat. He has 3 hundred+ wins, 4 Cy Youngs, that WS call, and the suited. extra alongside that he's the closest to 5 000 ok's we've seen for the reason that Nolan Ryan, and is a miles better ok's pitcher than Ryan. (10.6K/9 whilst in comparison with Ryans 9.5K/9). i think of if Randy Johnson does not make the hall First poll, no person can.

Definitley, the man innovated the lead off role. Add in being the all time steals leader and his OBP so high might not see anybody touch it. Sure thing.

I cannot envision Henderson being denied.

His induction speech should be a riot.

"Rickey is pleased. This is Rickey's day! Today Rickey is the greatest of the greatest of all time! Rickey says Thank You, and also says Thanks to Rickey!"

1st round, 1st ballot. Ricky rocked. He was the quintessential lead-off man. Power, speed, and one of the best left fielders in the game. No one like him.
