You can take a test, but may get a false positive. I would get a blood test from your doctor or a clinic. For now, "act pregnant" meaning no alcohol, illegal substances or smoking, just in case. It could be either way. You are young, so it could be and likely is hormonal. But, it wouldn't hurt to be safe and get the blood test.
Also, in the future, use protection. Try your local planned parenthood for condoms or birth control. I don't regret having mine at 19, but it would have been much easier to wait.

if you suspect that you are pregnant, buy a pregnancy test and see if the results are positive and then if so, go to your doctor or planned parenthood and have the test repeated.
something similar happened to me and I bought a test the same day I spotted and I got a faint positive so I made an appointment with my Gynecologist and found out I was, that was 19 years ago, she's now in college.
Good luck!

If you were having "rough sex" then you will have some spotting. What I am concerned about is if you are 18, living at home with no support system, why are you having unprotected sex or sex at all. He can't support you or a possible child then he is not worthy of your precious body. Not trying to preach but I wish someone had've told me my worth. Please listen.. if you are not pregnant...think of what I am saying to you. It's hard to go to college with kids or the pain of having an abortion on your conscience.

First off: take a pregnancy test. If you EVER think you're pregnant, you need to take a test as soon as you think you've missed your period. You don't need to go off and do something silly and then turn around and go, "Oh my god! I was pregnant the whole time!"
Second off: If you're not pregnant, get on birth control asap.
Third off: Please tell me you get tested regularly for STDs? It makes me very upset when young girls don't... whether or not you are monogamous you still could get something he didn't know he had before.
Good luck!

Stay away from planned parenthood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go talk to the guy. If hes a bum tell mom and dad. Its not the end of the world. Its the begining of a new one. Teen pregnancy is very common these days and theres so many resources for help. Good Luck.

It could be stress. Get tested at a women's center, they will support you and make sure you get the medical care you need- FREE- if it turns out that you are pregnant.

The only way to know for sure is to take a test. You can get them fairly cheap like at the dollar store and they work just as good as the high priced name brands.

Stress can cause you to be that late, but if you want to know if you are pregnant you have to take a test.

go to Planned Parenthood and talk to the doctor ASAP, or get a pregnancy test at the pharmacy but STILL go talk to the doctor as soon as you possibly can! if you don't have health insurance go on http://www.plannedparenthood.org/ and find a location near where you live.
