That stuff happens everywhere in NYC, and yes that includes Manhattan "newyorkgal71". Some people might forget Harlem and Washington Heights are part of manhattan, and they have seen their fair share of murders. Just cause it happens once doesn't mean you hood is dangerous, if it's happening regularly then you have a problem.
