why would a brown recluse or any spiders be living under my bed. I havn't been home and my little cousion has been using my room. Totally destroyed my room, I cant even see ground under my bed. She put clothes under there and etc. But my little chihuahua, and cat go under there all the time, does this mean they wont go near noise?

I just am afraid now to sleep. I am afraid of spiders.

If you have a brown recluse under your bed, its more than likely that you may have an infestation of them in your home. Brown Recluse spiders like dark places that are rarely disturbed. So if your cousin has left alot of clothes and rubbish that has been undisturbed for quite some time, then its a perfect place for Brown Recluse spiders to hide.

Most other spiders will just be house or garden spiders and will rarely bother or hurt you. But if there is definitely Brown Recluse in there, you may need to get someone out to see how you can get rid of them. I believe a bite from one of them can be very serious for some people, as the reaction to the venom they inject can eat away at your flesh. Some people get bitten and dont have a reaction at all.

Did you find a spider? Your question seems to only address your cousin, clothes and noise. Did you find a spider? If your cat and dog go under the bed all the time, spiders will relocate. Spiders dont really want to be bothered by the human race...they just want to eat other insects. This environment seems real unlikely for a brown recluse. They are called "recluse" for a reason. It would be more likely to have recluse under your bed if the room were empty and devoid of life.

We get some BIG spiders here in Ohio. I pretty much leave them alone. They are sometimes the size of a nickel ! Yikes.. ! I do however, prefer that they stay OUTSIDE so I spray the perimeter of my house inside/outside with ORTHO HOME DEFENSE, just be careful of pets and children.. Follow the instructions and the spiders can stay outside.. Good luck..
