"The Paralyzer"
In 1994, he led the Swedes to a gold medal in the Winter Olympics, scoring the winning goal of the penalty shootout that decided the gold medal game. Forsberg's "one hand, slide in" goal, a move which he borrowed from retired Swedish ice hockey player Kent Nilsson, has become popular in today's NHL. Dallas Stars forward Jussi Jokinen is known for pulling off the move numerous times in a season; some hockey commentators call it "The Paralyzer" but Forsberg claims he has never heard it called that before. An image of Forsberg scoring this goal was later placed on a Swedish postage stamp, making Peter the first hockey player to be placed on a Swedish stamp.

but I just call it "the stamp move", cause I heard this story so many times.

Wow, I'm dissapointed in you guys, none of you know it. jk, lol. The goal is called the stamp goal, because the image of that goal was later put on stamps in Sweden. I'm not sure what the move itself was called, but I hear people just call it the "Forsberg move", maybe he was the first one to do it. I've never heard of "Paralyzer".

Damn it, looks like baypae beat me to the answer, I should read other people's answers more carefully. But I know about the stamp goal because I'm an Avs fan, not because I read someone else's answer. But I'm sure it's not called the "Paralyzer".

Around the league, most of the players refer to it as 'The Forsberg'. I've only ever heard one announcer (on Canada's TSN actually) refer to it as a 'paralzyer'

Well, someone got it right already, "The Paralyzer"... It's like he named it that, haha. Lot of people do bring up Foppa's name when they see a player do this move though.

Hey Rachel A, where's Rick Nash's stamp? HUH?! LOL.
