ok any beauticians on here will you please answer. How much if you don't mind me asking do you make in a day/hour. And can you survive on you're own income? Can you also make your own hours? just curious thanks?

I worked as a hairdresser (in CA) briefly and it takes YEARS to build a clientele and you have to be booked solid to make decent money that you can live on. Also, the most successful behind the chair tend to be men, not women, although there are FAR more women behind the chair.
Do it if you absolutely LOVE it, but be prepared for a lot of lean years and PITB clients.

im not sure wat beautician ur specifically asking about. but im a nail tech. and i said i roughly make around like 700$ every 2 weeks. my hours are from opening hour to closing and i work like 5 days a week. and its like a family business... and well im not family... but still. its not like a company. its seriously like family. so i come late and leave early all the time. i get paid by commission so u kno.

have been in the business for 35 years and never had to have a second job, or rely on a man to pay my bills. i can make $750.00 on a slower week
