Hi! My younger sisters grew up with Mister Rogers. I watched Mr. Rogers re-runs with my son while he was growing up. And, I'd sneak and watch his show by myself. He was peaceful, kind-hearted, and compassionate. He gently taught us about diversity. I still sing his song in my head. God Bless!

I loved to watch Mister Rogers. I hated the Land of Make Believe, though... Mister Rogers taught me that it was okay to be different.

U are real funny asking about "how has Mr.rogers impacted your life? but to be honest with u he has impacted my life, so far as me as a child learning how to tie my shoes, or learning all about instruments etc. i grewup as a kid in the 80`s and watched a lot of PBS. shows like "Today`s Special, Zoobile Zoo, Seame street, Square One, Reading Rainbow etc and his show was apart of that too. He is one of the reason i went into teaching kids. and eventhough i am grown and have my own place and things every now and then i will watch " It`s such a good feeling, to know that u are alive, it`s such a happy feeling that u are growing inside and when u wake up ready to say..... etc. i know that this is kind of lame but when i heard that he died in 04 i was very sad. in facted i was shocked to have learned that he was married and had two son`s. he did not seem to be the married type. but anyway when i watch his shows EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE it brings back good memories.

I actually got to meet Mr. Rogers when I was in the 4th grade. He came to our school because we were doing a charity walk for a children's hospital and he matched our donations. He really was that gentle and soft-spoken in real life, and I always thought he was a wonderful person for the way he always told kids that they were special for just being who they were. I was really sad when he died.

It was something to watch when I was young and no good cartoons were on. I liked the puppets best and it was boring to watch him talk about stuff while waiting for the puppets.

Well, it took Owl at least 20 years to graduate from OCS, so I'm going to say that it doesn't exactly teach diligence in studying in school.
