Well my last history class was a graduate course in Archaeology of the Early Roman Empire. We ended the class in AD 235 with the end of the Severan dynasty. I think a few things have happened since then though...


In terms of general world history, they go up to the present Iraq War.

If you asked my son, he wouls probably say the revolutionary war. However, I last took American History about 5 years ago in college (as a returning student) and I think the most recent thing we discussed was the tearing down of the Berlin Wall. Pax - C

Last semester I took American History 1865 - Present. The professor was about 2 lectures behind so we only made it to the late 1960's. We were suppose to make it up to the late 1980's.

My AP Government class in high school (2005-2006) had new books up to 9|11 I believe.

I just finished high school this past June and the latest date I remember on a textbook was 2001 because of 9/11
