Penny Lane. Somehow, it reminds me of a place I've been to a long time ago. Strawberry Fields is a good song, but sometimes a little to "Acid-soaked" for my preference. Even though Penny Lane is from that same time period, it seems a little more......normal, if you will.

hmmmmmmmmmmm, thats toughie. Its always hard comparing Lennon to McCartney, but I love the psychedelic images behind Strawberry Fields Forever. It makes you think even if the lyrics are a bit bizarre.( I love the orchestration!) Penny Lane has its charms too, but Strawberry Fields Forever is the one I like better.

Probably Strawberry Fields Forever. And I'm not sure why I like it. Probably got hooked with the chorus or something the first time I heard it.

Penny Lane was my favorite out of the two. It was just one of those infectious pop songs that you don't have to think to hard about as you sing along.
