I need to get a new vacuum cleaner that WILL pickup pet hair. The one I have just isn't cutting it anymore. Can anyone recommend a vacuum that is reasonably priced and works? Please tell me from your personal experience - if you don't really know please don't answer. Thanks!

If you can get your hands on a Rainbow, that is the absolute best. They're pretty pricey though. I found the exact one I have on ebay. No bids, ends in 20 minutes. Good price. http://cgi.ebay.com/Rainbow-Vacuum-with-Attachments_W0QQitemZ250151738215QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item250151738215

We have 4 cats of varying hair length.
We got tired of messing around with wimpy vacuum cleaners, so we got the purple Dyson made especially for pet hair. Not anywhere near as expensive as an Electrolux, probably around $600. That Dyson sucks in a good way!
