My son is scheduled to arrive in exactly one month (9/12) and we have narrowed it down to 3 names, Lucas Geoffrey, Samuel David, and William Michael.
Lucas Geoffrey is after my dad, Geoff, and my great uncle Luke.
William Michael is from my husbands middle name, William, and my middle name Michelle.
Samuel David is just a name that we really like.
We have 2 other children, Benjamin Richard and Briana Althea.

I don't know if there is any significance in your great uncle, so I mean absolutely no disrespect by saying this, but it is common for someone to have 2 middle names.
If you really wanted to name your son after people, given the names you have, I would drop the great uncle's name and name your son William Michael-Geoffrey (last name). I like the name Samuel David if you don't feel like arguing over the importance of the names that you wish to name him after though. But I would go with William Michael-Geoffrey. I hope I helped, and I really mean no disrespect.

Lucas Geoffrey, Samuel David, and William Michael.
I assume you would call him Luke, Sam, or Will/Willy/Bill/Billy?
Decide which of those nicknames you like best. If you don't give him a nickname some of his friends probably will.
Most importantly, choose a name that you LIKE! Not necessarily a name that commemorates family members, is what I mean. Meaning, if you only like Lucas Geoffrey and William Michael because you feel obligated to honor family members, then eliminate those two choices and go with Samuel David.
Good luck!

All three are great names! Which ever one you choose will be great. Since your other two children were named after family, I think your third should be as well. I like William Michael the most, but I don't like the nickname Liam at all. I love the nickname Will. Since you would use the nickname Liam, that means I prefer Lucas Geoffrey. I love Luke. Good Luck deciding!

Hi, wow you must be feeling tired and all the family looking forward to meeting the little one!
I really don't think you should use William - willy and all that teasing stuff. Liam is another version of William that is so much better!
Lucus is nice but will he 'have the force' and all that star wars stuff. And the 'us' could turn to 'a..', like a donkey. Sorry but I gotta let you know!! kids can be cruel at school, and I think eventhough it is such a nice name I try to give the kids no reason to tease with the names.
Are your other children named for anyone? If not go with Samuel David, you really like it. I think Michael William is a great name too.
I see that both of your other kids have 'b' names, why not the third too? Bryan, Brendan, Brett, Blake, Braydan.

All good names. I think I like Samuel David best. If all else fails, try rolling a die... 1 and 2 for Lucas Geoffrey, 3 and 4 for Samuel David... etc.

I personally like Lucas Geoffrey, but William Michael is also nice, very versatile. Samuel David isn't bad either. I'll go with my first choice, then, Lucas Geoffrey.
