you sex them by tail length (long= dudes, short= chicks) but best way for help is a good ol' turtle handbook based on that turtle or just all turtles.

They take an awful lot of work and need very special care. Please see
http://www.austinsturtlepage.com/Care/caresheet-red_ear_slider.htm
for complete care info. Yellow bellies require the same care as RES. Basics are a 10 gallon sized tank for each 1 inch of shell length, a basking area to climb out of the water on, a basking lamp, thermometer to monitor basking temp (digital thermometer a must), a water heater, a water thermometer, a powerful water filter, a UVB bulb which must be within 12 inches of the basking area and changed every 6 months, and change the water very very very often. Feed a variety of foods in a separate tank to help keep things clean. Do not use plants or gravel in the tank. Gravel will cause fatal impactions.

yeah sure
FOOD: they eat meal worms, black worms, all types of worms, small feeder fish, small gold fish, guppies, pellets, dog food, cat food, any fruits or vegetables.
BASKING AREA: in ur tank u should have a baking area a turtle dock will be fine or a floating fake log, or a large rock (NOT A SHARP ONE)
CLEANING: if u have 2 then ur going to have to clean ur tank every 2 days it would be best if u get a filter or 2 (DEPENDS HOW BIG TANK IS) if u have a filter(s) then u should clean it every month.
SIZED TANKS: u should get a very large tank for turtles, turtles need a lot of room if u have a fully grown turtles then u will need a about 100 gallon tank for babies u will need a 20 gallon tank.
u should do research

attempt feeding them stay goldfish, i are conscious of it sounds gross, although that's thoroughly ok for them to consume. mine does not even bypass close to the pellets. slowly strengthen the quantity pellets and cut back the quantity of goldfish in case you particularly must have them purely consume pellets. you additionally can provide them some puppy save crickets and lettuce.
