Could use more information for a better answer. Do you have other responsibilities or will you be working on this full-time? Have you any experience writing a business plan?

You should be able to complete a business plan with about 2-3 weeks notice, even if it is your first one. To kickstart your project, you can get a sample business plan from the Microsoft.com website in the downloads section to get an idea of what it should look like and contain.

It is not possible to answer your question without a lot more information. However, you should be able to write a good business plan in two to four weeks. A lot depends on the nature of your business, the amount of research you have to do, your other duties, and much more. The number crunching alone may take 2-3 weeks, again depending on many factors. The text part of the plan should be reviewed by your boss or a committee and should probably be revised several times. There is a lot of information available on writing business plans.
