I had a bit of northern Ohio accent, which is almost a Boston accent but it's pretty much gone now and I speak pretty generically, what you called "plain American" I guess.

Believe it or not, when I was in college (Ohio State) I could tell if someone was from northern, central or southern Ohio! Southern Ohio has a noticeably southern drawl - a lady I met from Ironton pronounced her city "Arntn." Clevelanders frequently leave out or diminish "r" sounds like Bostonites do, and when they say shopping it sounds more like shapping.

I have no accent. I use to have one, but it went away when I started speaking English more about 7-8 years ago. And I'm only 20 years old.

People get surprised when I tell them my first language was Spanish, and they are surprised because my English and my grammar is perfect right now. It's better than people who spoke English their whole lives.

People say I kind of have a Chicago accent, and I say, "what the hell does that mean?" Chicago is in the Midwest.

I love P&S so much. These types of questions make my day.

I have a very mixed accent.
My dad's from London. My mum's from Kent. I was born up Northish. Sort of near Wales. (In Telford)I also visited Birmingham a lot.

I also just pick up accents really quick so I just jumble in loads of things.
If you talk to me you'll find that I'll just be talking to you and I might just turn Irish for 30 seconds or so....

Yes. I'm odd.

A regular West Coast accent.
Unless I'm tired, then my Valley Girl/Surf Chick accent comes back.

I live in PA, we have our own little mix of catch phrases and a little bit of new england's dialect, but in no way are we even close. Lost of people around here have the New York accent.
